Pennsylvania, the "Keystone State", is one of the mid-Atlantic states in the northeastern US. Only hours away by car from Boston, Buffalo, Baltimore, New York City, Richmond, Washington DC, and other major metropolitan areas of the East Coast, Pennsylvania offers hundreds of square miles of recreational areas, state forests and just all-around vacation fun opportunities.

Susquehanna County is in northeastern PA, an area of mountains and rivers that we call the "Endless Mountains".

Try a weekend get-away here and you'll be looking forward to spending lots of vacation time with us.

Shore Forest Campground is only minutes north of Scranton, PA, just 6 miles from Interstate 81 or 1/2 mile from US Route 11.

From the South: 81 north to exit 211 (Lenox). Take a left on to Route 106, go through the blinking light and remain on Route 106 for 2 miles. Make a left on to Loomis Lake Road. Follow this road for 4 1/2 miles. Make a right on to Forest Street. We are located at the bottom of the hill on the right.

From the North: 81 south to the New Milford exit (#233). Turn left to get to Route 11.. Follow Rt 11 South for 13 miles to Hop Bottom. Just before the blinking traffic light make a left onto Forest Street. The campground is at the crest of the hill on the left.

All routes are well marked with camping signs.
